Mercedes Benz didn't just send the E-Class to the gym, they also made it more intelligent. By using technology that thinks along with you. Like the AIRMATIC DC system, for example, or the SBC™ braking system. With a range of engines to suit every driving style. And an interior that spoils you for sheer comfort and space.
An Elegant New Body Style
The dynamic appearance of the new E-Class accurately reflects the superior driving experience the car provides. The sleek lines, with distinctive new headlamps, are designed to help the new E-Class slice cleanly and efficiently through the air. Attention to the smallest detail has resulted in some thoughtful design touches, such as side indicators that are smoothly integrated into the exterior mirrors.
The new E-Class is available in three lines to suit your individual preferences: CLASSIC, ELEGANCE and AVANTGARDE.
CLASSIC
As you would expect from a Mercedes-Benz, the CLASSIC line comes with a comprehensive range of standard equipment which includes a multifunction steering wheel, automatic climate control, four power windows, "Calyptus linea" wood trim, "Toulouse" upholstery, the Electronic Stability Program (ESP), light-alloy wheels, SPEEDTRONIC variable cruise control and Sensotronic Brake Control (SBC™).
ELEGANCE
The ELEGANCE line adds an extra touch of luxury to the E-Class. On first glance, the unique light-alloy wheels are immediately apparent, whilst on closer inspection a modified radiator grille and extra chrome trim help to set the car apart. Once inside, you notice the burr walnut trim and gearshift lever badge, leather-trimmed steering wheel, "Paris" upholstery, aluminium rings around the instrument dials and chrome strips in the door handles.
AVANTGARDE
The AVANTGARDE is a more dynamic E-Class line. Subtle exterior clues such as unique bumpers, bi-xenon headlamps and a lowered ride height hint at the AVANTGARDE's performance potential. Differences on the inside are equally understated, with discreet chrome rings around the instrument dials and on the gearshift lever, "St. Tropez" upholstery, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, bird's-eye maple wood trim and blue-tinted glass in place of the standard green.
