The new suspension is a lightweight, compact-sized wonder that promises a smooth ride. McPherson Struts with Stabilisers are employed in front for the ultimate steering response and linearity. The rear of the VIOS is supported by ETA beams with Stabilisers, offering the best of independent and rigid-type suspensions. The same system is also used on the Corolla Altis.
The VIOS comes in two models which is the 1.5G and 1.5E. And the estimated pricing for 1.5G is RM 95,000 and the 1.5E is RM85,000. The difference between these two models is the is different sizes of the rims, weight, the chrome finishing, ABS, EBD, Airbags and other accessories.
